Video: Lady Gaga and Beyonce confuse and delight in “Telephone”

Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s “Telephone” video is more than 9 minutes of violence, sex, product placement, and bright colors. Director Jonas Akerlund takes references from flicks like Kill Bill and Thelma & Louise and incorporates camp, pop culture references, Coke can hair rollers, and Tyrese Gibson (huh?). Personally, the jury is still out on whether the visually dazzling video is a brilliant take on feminism and consumerism or just 10 minutes of randomness.
