Pusha T and Miss Info brought out all the hip hop journos on Friday (3/11) to preview Pusha’s solo debut mixtape Fear of God. The homie Kathy and I rolled through to what felt like a journo high school reunion. Too many folks to shout out but I’ll try: JFK, Tracey, Mikey Fresh, and Clover (Vibe), Erika, Mariel, Monica, Alex, Rahim, Mike (Sony), Nick (Sony), Its The Real, Steven Victor, Paul Cantor, Ernest, Incilin, and Damien (Complex), Jayson, Neef, Hillary, Amos, Combat Jack, Shiv, Ben Detrick, Timmhotep, Low Key, Yuming and Wendy, Xilla, etc. etc.

The mixtape sounded stellar, especially with a nice mojito c/o Platino in hand. I’ve always loved Pusha’s sexy ass voice and he delivers with this tape. Highlights include collaborations with Rick Ross and 50 Cent and a great lyric which will undoubtedly spawn trending topics and one-liners for months to come “I’m feeling myself…pause”.

Fear of God is out 3/21.

Guess the song “Golddigger” wasn’t enough. Kanye West took to Twitter yesterday to tell all the fellas to beware of scandalous women who want to get pregnant on purpose. Not sure if this was a dig at Amber Rose, since now she’s booed up with Wiz Khalifa or not, but in the age of Real Housewives and Basketball Wives, good advice to keep in mind fellas. Keep it strapped!
