I attend some pretty cool events and concerts as a music journalist, but every now and then, I get to hit up events and tastings with my food writer friends and they are AWESOME. Seriously, any time I can stuff my face with free food is a very good day.
Yesterday, I went to over to Brooklyn for the Taste of Williamsburg where I got to sample deliciousness from a ton of local restaurants. The highlights: A whole roasted pig (because duh, pork is amazing), blistered Shishito peppers and the best iced coffee ever from Oslo Coffee Roasters. The only bummer, the lines were zany and I couldn’t get my sugar fix with Phin & Phebes Ice Cream. Sad face.
See some pics below and try not to drool too much.
