I love when artists give me that real talk in interviews. Nothing off-the-record or sugar-coated but just keeping it all the way 1000. I interviewed singer Lyfe Jennings (You probably remember him from his 2004 debut) on his new album, matters of the heart and the disturbing trend of strippers in r&b. Lyfe spoke his mind and put that terrible Usher song about stripper worship ("I Don't Mind") on super blast. Someone had to do it.
Lyfe: No offense to Usher. He says he don’t mind, but if your girl is coming in at three, four o’clock in the morning, [smelling] like, 30 different perfumes and baby wipes. You don’t mind? I would mind!
