Jay Z performs classics, Beyoncé makes me melt at TIDAL B-Sides show

I've been to a lot of Jay Z shows over the years but this weekend, I got to experience something special. Jay performed his deep cut songs for TIDAL's B-Sides show at Terminal 5. It was strictly for the hardcore Reasonable Doubt-era heads (Sorry, no "Empire State of Mind" here). I reviewed the show for Village Voice so you can read all about the concert, plus the awesome Roc-A-Fella reunion that included Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Memphis Bleek and Young Gunz (not to mention, a Jay Electronica cameo).

Now, what I didn't include in my piece was my night with Beyoncé.  Yes, the effortlessly gorgeous one they callQueen Bey was in the house, rocking a sparkly Chicago Bulls jersey. I glanced over during "You Don't Know," to see her happily counting along to her man's rhymes ("One million, two million, three million, four") in the V.I.P. section. At one point, I looked over again and our eyes locked. Time stopped. She smiled. I smiled. Was she looking at me? OMG what do I do? Why do I feel so warm and tingly? Oh wait, that's just my soul melting into a puddle.
