A$AP Rocky has the number one album in the country this week with his sophomore effort A.L.L.A. I had the pleasure of chopping it up with Rakim (Yes. That's the name his mama gave him) last week at Jungle Studios in New York City. We spoke about the album, his extracurricular projects like the new movie Dope and why he's a "rock star" for Village Voice. Read the trillness there. Although this didn't make the interview, I wanted to share that he did apologize for calling me "Slumdog Millionaire" when we met in 2012 at MTV ("What was I thinking?") and we both geeked out over our love of the new Earl Sweatshirt album. It's cool to see rappers fan boy out over each other.
