Life moves fast in this industry and it’s easy to forget all the cool experiences you actually have. When I think about all of the amazing rappers, singers, producers, celebrities, etc. that I’ve been blessed to meet and work with, it’s really pretty zany. As part of my ongoing project with the new HP Split x2, I was asked to put together a photo montage that was meaningful to me. I decided to share ‘My Year in Hip-Hop Journalism’ featuring some of the artists I’ve interviewed and met over the past year (who were nice enough to snap a flick with me). Yes, that’s Kanye giving an almost-smile along with French Montana, The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky. A collage like this inspires me to keep getting bigger and bigger and makes me realize how truly blessed I am. #ILoveMyJob
Disclosure: This is a “sponsored post.” HP provided me a Split x2. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with FTC guidelines.
Super stoked that I got to listen to Pusha T’s forthcoming album My Name is My Name for Billboard. I interviewed Terrence (aka Pusha) as well as his marketing team to discuss Kanye’s involvement and the reason behind all those pesky delays. Peep the current issue now (It has Imagine Dragons on the cover).
